Originally from Nashville, we are proud parents of two amazing children who share our love for travel and the importance of family time. What started as a dream to own vacation homes where families could gather and create lasting memories has now become a reality, and we’re thrilled to share these spaces with you. With over 400 five-star reviews across our properties, we’ve poured our hearts into creating upscale homes that provide the perfect setting for unforgettable stays.
Our journey into vacation rentals is deeply personal. It was inspired by Shelli’s father, who taught us the value of family and the joy of traveling together. He cherished every moment spent with loved ones and friends. After his passing, we decided to name our company in his honor "Duke Vacation Destinations."

We came here with a group of 8 other friends and absolutely LOVED this house. The property is amazing and Chuck was a great host. He was super quick to respond, check in and check out instructions were simple and clearly communicated and they reached out just to ensure everything was good. This property is a little ways away from DT, but we didn’t mind the ride and felt the extra privacy was worth it. Beds were commented on by all on how comfy and linens were nice as well. Highly recommend!

The house had everything you needed for a for our trip. Host replied quickly for every request. We especially loved having a hot tub to soak in at the end of each day, or in the early morning ( note - bring your own beach towels) They only supply 3 bath towels per room for your stay.

The lodge was exactly what we wanted for our family Christmas get together. It was large, comfortable and gave off the holiday vibe (fireplace in the background and even beautifully decorated by the host with tree and stockings). The communication with Chuck was extremely friendly and uncomplicated. Chuck made sure all our needs were met and was immediately reachable if we had any questions. One of the friendliest and most courteous host experiences that I have ever had. We woud definitely stay here again. It was everything that we we looking for and in fact it exceeded our expectations. Our family was able to spend Christmas together in a really cool lodge just outside of Nashville and allowed us to make some great memories.
